As an alkaline earth metal, strontium and barium are essential for skeletal growth in corals, and other marine animals and algae.
The Tropic Marin® Block System uses an indicator element to dose-related trace elements that are consumed in the same ratio. Often, their levels are below the detection limit of the analyzing meters and cannot be measured correctly.
Elements, Chemical Symbol and contents:
Strontium – Sr – 50,000 mg/l (ppm)
Barium – B – 66 mg/l (ppm)
Helps to reliably and accurately add strontium and barium to correct any deficits
Also accounts for dosing any elements that are below the detection limit of the analyzing meters
Easy dosing with the integrated dropper and dosing cap
Suitable for both a manual dosing as well as for dosing pumps
Water, inorganic strontium and barium compounds
2 ml per 100 l/ 26 US. gal. aquarium volume increase the concentration of strontium by 1 mg/l (ppm) and barium by 1.32 µg/l (ppb).
Maximum dosage: 4 ml per 100 l/ 26 US. gal. daily.
Store in a cool and dark place.
