The API® SUPER MICRO FILTRATION pads contain a dual density micro filtration pad with gradual thickness that removes the smallest particles before water is returned to the aquarium. Use these foam pads in FILSTAR XP FILTERS.

Put the pad into the top filtration compartment with the white side up. Replace the pad every time the water is changed or at least once a month.
